The Duffers and Dames Golf League is a mixed league. Membership in the League is not required to participate in this year’s season. It is not BLN sponsored. Participation in the Duffers and Dames Golf League is open to all Boeing employees/retirees; their spouse, partner, and/or friends. We play twice per month in May, June, July, August, and September at golf courses located across the south Puget Sound area. How to participate in one or more of the Duffers and Dames Golf Season:
1. Complete the Duffers and Dames non-league application. (if you need the Word format of the form email the web focal).
2. Prepayment of golf for each tournament selected; check made out to Kären Ekrem. Payment for use of a power cart is not included; this may be done at the course. Call Kären if you have questions: 206-819-3044.
3. Return the application and prepayment at least 10 days prior to the earliest selected tournament to:

4. Foursomes are established the week prior to each tournament.
5. Voluntary participation in the tournament completion is $15.00 per tournament and may be paid at the course.
Membership in WSGA via Duffers and Dames Golf League:
The Duffers and Dames League is a registered league with the WSGA. The WSGA golf league name is Duffers and Dames. As a registered club, we receive full services of both the Pacific Northwest and Washington State Golf Associations. The annual fee of $31.00 includes the $1.00 subscription fee to the Pacific Northwestern Golfer magazine and provides all members with a GHIN number and handicap.
League Composition:
The league uses the GHIN handicap system as its basis for evaluation of players. It is composed of two(2) divisions based on those handicaps. The divisions are established using the mid-point of all the players handicaps; the lower 1/2 handicaps are in division one (1) and the higher 1/2 handicaps are in division two (2).
League Competition:
Each division has the following competitions:
• Low net: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place
• Least putts: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place
• Special Competition (defined prior to each tournament): 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place
• Additional special competitions may be introduced throughout the season
League dues are: $65.00:
• $31.00 Membership in the Washington State Golf Association (WSGA)
• $34.00 Tournament completion fund
The tournament competition prizes are established based on the total number of members in the league.
