2024 Mentoring Events and Resources

• BCC Resume and Interviewing Skill Session
  BLNR participated on Saturday, March 2nd at the Bellevue College Course on Resume, Job Search, and Interview Skills. The event was hosted by class instructor Skip Sampelayo. The practice review team consisted of volunteers many from businesses including retired Seb Pierini and Roger Wells from Boeing.
  Approximately a total of 18 Bellevue College students were in attendance. During the event the team individually reviewed 4 students’ resumes and provided them with a scenario of interview questions. Each student had a 45-minute session with a volunteer. Skip Sampelayo (BCC Faculty) was very appreciative of our volunteer participation. He intends to have another such event during the summer this year.
